Preteen Event 56 | Devoted
Event 56 is a two-day event just for 5th and 6th grade preteens held on our Milburn campus. At Event 56 students will experience Christ-centered worship and teaching, and time to connect with God, other students, and leaders that love to be with your kids. We'll also have a ton of fun with active games and team challenges, free time activities, meals and snacks, and dessert!
As we open God's Word, we'll be learning about what it means to live a life devoted to Jesus. We'll take a look at the story of king Josiah in 2 Kings 22 to see what we can learn from him and the way he lived for God. We'll see that the world is determined to push and pull us in a bunch of different directions but God just wants us to live for Jesus and become like him. He promises to renew our minds as we allow him to transform our hearts.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2
