The purpose of Mission
Good news must be shared
When we have good news or are amazed by something, we organically share it with others. God's plan is for his people to share with everyone the good news of the gospel and their experience of His love. If you have encountered the life-changing love of Jesus, you can't help but be moved to share it.
Many of Jesus' final words on the earth were calls to share with others. In Matthew 28, Jesus says to His disciples and to us "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 NIV.
If you haven't encountered Jesus, His love is the one thing you need more than anything. Why would you wait to experience it?
