Junior High Beach Retreat

The beach is a phenomenal place for students to get away from the everyday distractions, and into the quietness and roar of the serene waves to discover who God is! They will enjoy outdoor activities and energetic recreation, laugh together, learn from God's word, sing with impactful worship, and so much more. We are so excited for camp with your students!

We will depart from Northpointe Community Church on Friday, January 24, to Morro Bay Dunes RV Park and return on Sunday, January 26. Northpointe staff and volunteer leaders will be caring for and making camp memories with students all weekend. Every leader is live scanned fingerprinted, background checked, and has ministry experience. These leaders are involved in the lives of students as they walk with them weekly at church. They have great experience with students and are stoked to be pointing them towards Jesus at Beach Retreat.

FRIDAY JAN | DEPARTURE

We will be taking two 15 passenger vans and our leaders and staff who are insured will be driving students.

Please make sure your student(s) eat lunch prior to departure. We will not be providing lunch, and the next time we will have a meal will be at 5:00pm when we arrive in Morro Bay. We will stop in Kettleman City to use the restroom then resume our journey to Morro Dunes RV Park.

ACCOMODATIONS

We will be camping at Morro Dunes RV Park. Guys and girls will be separated. Bathrooms and showers are located at the park campsite. 1700 Embarcadero Morro Bay CA 93442

ELECTRONICS

Students may have their electronic devices for the drive and to check in with home if necessary, but we will ask that phones be put away for the entirety of the retreat. This is a retreat for students to disconnect and unplug to focus on God. If there is an emergency, you can be certain Pastor Emma will get in contact with parents.
