What is Parent Child Dedication?
Parent Child Dedication all about recognizing this important commitment with your church family. Parent/Child dedication is an opportunity for parents to present their child before God and His people asking for grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities. Parents come praying their child will one day trust Jesus Christ as Savior.
Parent Commitments
During the dedication service, parents promise before God, their family, and the church to raise their child in a God-honoring way. Because parents are the key role models for their children, we ask that they commit to the following before dedicating their child:
- Parent(s) have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Parent(s) are regular attenders of Northpointe weekly services and are following Christ
- Parent(s) agree with our church’s beliefs and values
- Parent(s) commit to modeling personal purity and to lead by example in matters of faith and conduct.

Kids Baptism
The Bible describes baptism as an act that declares your personal faith in Jesus as Lord & Savior. In our church, when a child has reached an age where they can express their own faith, we invite them to be baptized.
We want every baptism experience to be meaningful and one they’ll remember for years to come. For these reasons, we feel that kids are typically ready for baptism starting in 3rd grade.
If your child has expressed an interest in baptism, we’d love for them to join us for a Kids baptism class. Here, kids will gain a greater understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and the importance of baptism as a step in that direction.

Kids Core
KidsCore is designed to guide children on a journey of faith toward spiritual maturity. Children work through one book each year in their small group, where they are encouraged to develop relationships with their leaders and with other children! Each session is designed to challenge kids to develop a deeper love of Christ, to know and desire to follow His path, and to grow in relationship with their group. It’s a blast!

Core Class for Adults
Whatever your story has been until now, you were made to live in the love of God and to give that love away to everyone around you. As a community, we want to help you discover the purposes of God and practice them in your daily life.
At Core Class, we spend time around a table together learning how to take the next step in each of our faith journeys. If you want to get to know the person of Jesus, grow in your faith and build a community of Jesus-followers around you, Core is where you need to be.
