Preteen Pit Crew | 2025

The Pit Crew consists of 5th and 6th grade preteens that believe that Jesus is the driver and the Gospel (or Good News) is the vehicle. We, as the Pit Crew, are the ones who ready the gospel to go out so that Jesus can change lives! We understand that everything that we do is to show others that Jesus is awesome and that living for Him is living our best life! 

Pit Crew runs September-May on the third Sunday of the month. We meet monthly for teaching and training, and the goal is to help students find a place to serve and share Jesus throughout their preteen years and beyond. If your child has accepted Jesus and is growing in their faith, we'd love to help them take the next step of leadership! 

Starting date: Sunday, September 21 from 1:00-2:30pm in the Outlet

What it means to be a part of the Pit Crew:

9-month commitment (September-May)

Monthly meetings (3rd Sunday of the month from 1-2:30p)

At each meeting we will:

• Participate in team-building activities.
• Hear from leaders within the church about qualities of leadership.
• Learn practical skills for serving others.

Committing to the Pit Crew means that you are committing to the following things:

• Having a growing friendship with Jesus.
• Regularly praying for Preteen Ministry.
• Consistently attending Sunday service and the Pit Crew monthly meetings.
• Serving in the Outlet (or another area) at Northpointe.
• Caring for the Pit Crew team.
