As kids grow and mature, we want them to have a place where they will develop a clear picture of how their faith plays out in their day-to-day lives and in light of God's Big Picture for them. We want them to know that God has a specific and unique plan for them.
It is our desire that kids see themselves as a masterpiece of the Creator. Ephesians 2:10 says: "For we are God's masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He had planned for us long ago."
