Serving at Sirua Aulo Elementary

Posted in Kenya

Sunday morning we attended services at Good Shepherd Church  in Nairobi with our friend Pastor Bones. Then after church and some time with  his family, we loaded up in the van for our drive into the Masai Mara to a town called Kilgoris.

It is a full day of travel to get from Nairobi to Kilgore so we arrived to our new place to stay in the middle of the night. When we woke up in the morning, we sat off for a great first day at the school that  partners with that was started by our friend Emmanuel.

The first two days at the school  with the elementary school students. Today we spent time teaching in their classes, but most importantly, we spent time hanging out with them meeting them, learning about them and developing  with them and the teachers.

The whole point to spending time at  the school is to serve the kids, support the work that the teachers and staff are doing, but most  develop  will help spread the gospel of Jesus to the surrounding communities.

We are now done at the elementary school and tomorrow we will head off for a couple of days of service at the high school. Our goal is still the same. At the end of the day what we would like to see is people come to know Jesus for the first time

Please pray for safety, rest, and opportunities to share the gospel with non-believers around us!
