Ministry in Nairobi- 6/28/25

Posted in Kenya

We have had two full days of ministry in Nairobi. Working with our partners from Good Shepherd  Church we have done several things already:

Yesterday we partnered with their youth group to do some serve projects around their church campus that included cleaning and painting one of their children’s classrooms. We also worked with them to sort supplies that you, our NorthPointe family, have donated to support Good Shepherd Church’s limitless ministry as well as their school that they have during the week. We ended our day yesterday by having a short worship service and message with their youth group students. We led a couple of songs and four of our very own high school students brought a message with testimonies. It was an outstanding time of serving and worshiping with God’s people in Kenya.

Today, we were back at Good Shepherd Church to serve at an inclusive family fun day. This was a fun community event meant to welcome  families with children with special needs. There was a time of worship and some short classroom teachings as well as camel rides a bounce house, face, painting, and other great fun things. We were blessed to be able to serve at it and even take part in some of the fun stuff like  a camel. You can join us in prayer that this event brought in new families from the community to learn about the church, the school, and the work that they are doing through their limitless ministry and the Leroy Bones  foundation.

Tomorrow we have  services back at Good Shepherd, and then we load up in a van and drive to our next stop: Kilgoris, Kenya.

Please pray for safety, rest, and opportunities to share the gospel with non-believers around us!
